nova kakhovka must be captured.   and, the east bank of the dnieper cleared of any russian presence.

i prefer a drive just east of melitopol, straight to the black sea, as the easiest and quickest expedient to accomplish these goals in the short term.  to assure the ejection of the russians in the long term, i favor another drive to the black sea east of mariuopol, and kicking the invaders out of that city.

that is a tougher nut to crack.  the abrams and challengers and leopards should be husbanded and saved for this task.  this will require some heavy armor, and artillery, and hopefully some air power.***

*** say a band of international thieves steals a mess of a-10 warthogs while someone is sleeping, and gets them to the ukraine with the appropriate stores and munitions in time for the drives to the black sea.  (you know, the "summer offensive.")   just idle day dreaming, i know, but, it would be sweet.

Four of the A-10 and one or two AC-130 Spectre for good measure would make short shrift of any armored column, as long as they could evade the legion of shoulder fired surface to air missiles very available in that section of the globe.

grog:  too bad they couldnt get a couple of aardvarks out of storage some place.  they were very good at laying down a whole lot of ordnance on ground pounder marking in column.  and, had relatively good reach.  aardvarks and warthogs working in tandem can lay some serious hurt on ground pounders.  john
