all lefties, progressives, communists and democrats are scared shitless of the magnificant strength of the modern industrial economy, and the wealth it has generated for all persons regardless of position on the economic ladder. never have the wealthy been so rich, and this is the real source of fear for "liberals," never has the common man, and the "poor" man, had so much money and so much access to material and social well being.
the liberals are lying through their teeth when they say they look to the benefit of the poor ..... they do not fear more poor people, they fear in the deepest part of their bowels, the fewer and fewer poor that modern economies create.
and what frightens them to the depth of their being, is that private economies and wealth are growing so fast that they outstrip the ability of governments to "manage" and "control" them. have you really thought of what it means that a private citizen can launch himself into space? have you thought of the scientific achievement behind that, and controlled by a private individual. the science, research, technology all brought to bear on an individual project by one person, a private person.
what the liberals fear is that private individuals and free associations of individuals will provide for the population that which the government used to be in charge of. they are concerned that free associations of person will be able to provide for their own needs, without the help or assistance of the collective effort that is government.
think about it.
if a private person can build a rocket ship to put people into space, can build a rocket ship where the boosters return to space and land gently butt first and shut down the engines, (something which no government on earth has achieved or duplicated, so far as i know), then why do we need a governmental space program.
and, if a billionaire can build a space traveling rocket ship, why cannot a billionaire build an atomic bomb, or a hydrogen bomb, or create a technology that will outstrip those devices in terms of destructive potential. they have already demonstrated that they have the technology at hand to guide such a bomb anywhere on earth, to target any spot on earth, with people they already have on the payroll.
in short, the progressives, lefties, socialists and communists, e.g. democrats, are afraid that there may come a time when governments provide largely redundant services, at a lesser efficiency, than those services provided by private enterprise.
that is why the democrats and various lefties have their shorts in a knot, because private industrial economies are putting them out of business.
and, if we don't need government, we sure as shit do not need politicians, now do we. this is why the dimbulbs are shitting themselves in fear, because they know that sooner or latter, we simply don't need them to tell us how to live our lives.
the reality of the whole mess, comes down to just that. a.o.c. knows that she is worthless as tits on a boar hog, and she is scared beyond measure that you and i will figure it out. and, as a matter of fact, i already have. i am just waiting for you to come on board.

p.s. some of you will say, "well, what about militaries?" well, what about them. this country fought our own civil war with essentially private armies and militias, the ranks filled by private subscription and levy. and, militias filled the ranks of "enlistment" and "officer command" the same way, with most militias electing their own officers, without need of the "professional" services provided by the federal and confederate armies. as a matter of fact, to this day there is a thriving industry involved in providing the military with officers, with private military schools all over the southern united states.
anyone ever heard of v.m.i., for instance.
so, who in the hell really needs politicians, when you get right down to it. that is why the fight to make this, that, and everything else into a group goes on at the private level. because, just as in the matter of the the economies of modernity, that is where the action is. period.
really, the end of discussion.
