traveling from yakima, washington to home, i pulled off the freeway at zillah, washington to supplement breakfast, and to hit the head. back to the freeway, and across the street from the local mickie d's, i saw this sign at a construction site. "work hard, stay humble" it said.
and, i thought of the blm and antifa protests, violence, thuggery and property damage of the past couple of years.
blm. antifa. and, their destruction.
work hard. stay humble. the essence of building, and creation.
which do you think is the more productive strategy over the long haul? i know which i think is so.

p.s. to the cardiologist tomorrow afternoon. i'll see how my aneurysms and kidney cysts "are doing." and, if the ticker is still trundling along productively. ("ejection fractions" and all that stuff.) maybe i should have been a little more mindful of the long haul when i was a good deal younger, eh? i don't think a hissy fit will change things, no so very much.
as, in all things, you get what your work for, and what your deserve, and what you strive for. generally speaking, simply demanding what you want in and of itself, doesn't lend itself to the attainment of goals, hardly ever. work hard. stay humble. look to the long haul. do your part.
and, quit your fucking bitching.
So, how was the visit to the pill pusher?

ticker is healthy. the l.a.d. hasnt gotten any worse. and, the aneurysms are all holding steady, none growing. i could drop dead at any instant, but, in that, i am no different from anyone else on earth. holding steady.
