deep states? what deep state?

two years ago barack obama was going to use his vaunted internet connections and socialist loyalists within the state department, the cia, nasa and the other federal intelligence gathering apparatus to run the government in the stead of the newly elected president of the united states.   trump would perhaps be the de jure president, but obama and friends would be the de factor president, and he was openly treated as such, and feted by other heads of state who might have known better.

it was called the "deep state", openly admitted, not at all denied, and the contemplated vehicle of obama's dreams of continued governance.  socialism would have its day, and it would govern.

the democratic party would oppose trump at every turn, and impeachment was the cover of an open coup attempt.   that was then, heady days for those who thought they would wrest power from the duly elected president, not held legitimate to them.

today, where is it?  well,  it lies shattered, along with the dreams of power held by the likes of comey, mccabe and the big mouthed brennan, and countless lesser federal bureaucrats whose open contempt for president trump was flaunted at every public utterance was trumpeted by the media, and whose every act was an attempt to scuttle donald trump's governance.   every act pursued by trump was challenged in federal courts, and judges of lesser stripe were sought and cultivated because they openly advertised their willingness to thwart trump's exercise of power.

today, comey and mccabe are revealed as the venal rosencranz and gildenstern of the day.   john brennan has shut his mouth, his flapping gums stilled.   john kerry no longer visits the world's capital acting as the secretary of the deep state, making deals and foreign policy with leaders of state only too eager to indulge in his vainglory.

the military is solidly behind trump, not at all lured by the idiotic imprecations of the obama toadies in the "deep state."

the democrats tried every low life tactic imaginable to frustrate trump, and their strategies lie in ruin, and they are revealed as the champions only of their own self interests, with no agenda calculated to advance the interests of the united states as a body politic, no vision of the betterment of its citizens.   their party is in disarray, run by idiots, championed by chuch schumer and aoc ,.... , what more need be said.

trump's rule is secure.   even the mavens of the mass media have stilled their ridicule of melanie trump, a decent woman.

the "deep state" lies as a failed coup attempt, the stench of its illegality pervading socialist conceits.   it is consigned to the dust bins of history.  in two short years, trump has prevailed, and his policies dominate the public debate.  he has not won every fight, but, he defines the debate.

p.s.   and, donald trump continues to appoint judges to the federal bench, and the republican controlled senate committee continues to steer those appointments to the bench in record numbers.   and, ruth bader ginsburg cannot live forever.

j. epstein the pedophile .... wheat harvest starts in the walla walla valley ....

what do these two topics have in common, you may ask.   well, the answer, insofar as known to me, is absolutely nothing.

suffice it to say evil seems to be endemic to human existence, and that there will always be assholes like epstein.  there is no cure for what ails him, ... , he is a pervert, and a politician consumed by uncontrollable ambition and appetite, and the resultant product is not pretty, except to democrats.

as to wheat harvest in the walla walla valley, it has flourished in our time due to a favorable combination of timely winds, weather and water.  my little valley doesn't get much rain, but what we do get is favorable to the cultivation of winter wheat, being just enough to germinate seeds planted after a slight fall rain, and just enough to carry the crop through after "the spring thaw."   our valley is verdant on very little water in the spring, and then dries in an orderly fashion to bring the wheat heads/berries to maturity.

wind carried our soil from the south in times past.   just eough water is carried to us from the pacific after most of the water is extracted on the heights of the cascade mountains to our west.   winter wheat seems almost to have been designed for our climate, and for the anti-"gmo" crowd, this is in the main entirely true, thanks to the agronomy programs at washington state and oregon state universities.  (most of you slicks, east coast and west coast, don't have the slightest notion of what "gaines shorty" is, and most of you lack sufficient curiosity to gain such knowledge, being, well, slicks.  ignorance becomes you.)

so, wind, weather and water provide for us.   it gives us sustenance and life.  as for the turd bird epstein, he gives nothing, and quite likely, never will be anything except an object of conjecture.   although i suspect, the dems will rehabilitate him again, and run him for office, if he can stay out of prison.

i'll take my bucolic existence amid the wheat fields, thank you very much.

p.s.   i have been gone from these pages for a bit.--   on may 24th i suffered a coronary occlusion necessitating the placement of another stent (i am up to 6 of the things, plus 4 "cabbages"), plus 2 days after the operation to place a stent i had a bleeding stomach ulcer let go, requiring another operation to stem the leakage of blood.   even so, i was anemic enough to require the transfusion of a couple of bags of blood.   not to mention that i suffered an allergic reaction to the anesthetic used in the heart surgery, which rendered me a bit crazy for a couple days, to put the matter plainly.

and, as the icing on the cake, i also had a bit of stroke somewhere along the course of this whole adventure "in good health," which impacted memory, speech and other movement, for a blessedly brief period, and which seems to have resolved itself quite favorably in a remarkably short period of time.  so, i am back to "normal," more or less, insofar as i am capable to judge.

ah, 2020 and the re-election of the donald, and the defeat of the democrat lunatics.  i am gonna jump into that both feet, insofar as stamina mental and physical will allow.   why let little things such as heart attacks & such hold me back.

bring on the fight!!!
