there is no little irony in regard to the ultra leftist feminists who accused brett kavanaugh of sexual perfidies alleged to have occurred 35 years or so ago, only in form, function and fact to have emerged from the whole fracas as nothing more than whores doing service for and at the behest of george soros.  their testimony and averments bought and paid for by soros, and at the behest of their democratic handlers.

several of them soros activists, christine ford photographed arm in arm w/ soros.  another, her debts having disappeared.  all connected to an activist attorney linked to soros money and causes.

feminist women.  bought and paid for.   by a man.  by one of the richest men in the entire world.  services rendered as specified, money and "prestige" the currency of the exchange.   it seems that nothing really changes all that much, no matter how gussified.  (a) whore(s) (is a) are whores.

i take a certain humor in all that.

republican stupidity re: kavanaugh ....

diane feinstein is a cynical old liar.

when she proffered ford's letter and demanded an "investigation," the republicans should have put the matter onto the senate floor just then.   as in, "rfn."

but, they did not.   they temporized, and they quailed, and they lost their nerve.  and, by so doing, they created the "kavanaugh 'me-too' movement," telegraphing all those who waited in the weeds that they could forward their claims with impunity.

what use is there in voting for republicans when after years in congress they are afraid to wield the power that has been invested in them, by a majority.  that they do not seem to remember what was done to them by the likes of pelosi, feinstein, schumer, obama and frank when those worthies controlled congress, does not speak well of the repubs: forgive and forget simply ='s "stupid" in politicians.   when obama was elected and the demo's had power, he and his minions rode absolute rough shod over the repubs, and wiped their noses in their defeat:  they were devastated for two years.  this lack of memory, again, does not speak well of them.   maybe they do belong running a small town rotary drive for glasses, but, they are not the stuff of big time pols.   kindly old bumbling idiots is about the best that can be said of them.

they are not made for wielding power in a legislative assembly.  as noted before, power not exercised is power squandered.***

it is time to abandon these old poops, leave them to their dotages, and form a new conservative party.

***trump, had he been running the judiciary committee, would simply have said to the demo's, "too late, you missed the train, the matter is on for vote tomorrow."   trump recognizes the importance of timing, the importance of striking when the iron is hot, of moving to votes when you have them and not allowing time and circumstances to erode your strength.   these matters are simply lost on the republican congress, who are dolts in a collective sense.

 

re: the kavanaugh hearings .... the descent of the democratic party .... into lunacy, and lies ....

"it is to laugh, it is to cry."  oft said by bugs bunny, a most sagacious critic of the human condition.

the democratic party and allied leftist progressives and dingbats have proved, and are still proving, that there is no limit to the depths of depravity and public indecency to which they will sink, indeed, to which they will actively dig.  enthusiastically.  with relish.  all the while ignoring propriety and governing legal standards.

first, they dredge up from among their activists and protesters a woman who claims to have been set upon by brett kavanaugh some 35 or 36 years ago, she cannot quite remember, and in the midst of her allegations notes that her memory is a bit clouded because of extreme intoxication.   and, as the matter meanders along, it emerges that she is an activist, who has retained multiple activist lawyers, among whom one or several have financial and legal ties to george soros.   then, as time goes further by, she attempts to dictate to the senate committee the terms by which she will appear.   finally, not having gained those terms, it becomes problematic whether she will come and testify in support of her allegations.

it gets worse.

another woman appears who acclaims to have been accosted by kavanaugh, this after 6 days of discussion with a lawyer in aid of reconstructing her recollection of events, along with help from friends.   it turns out that she was so intoxicated during the alleged events that she fell down, and could not remember what happened without the "help" and "aid" of those who prompted her to come forward.  indeed, she was so drunk her vision and memory were impaired, ... , but, resurrected with the help of a lawyer.   none of this tripe would be admissible in a court of law, by the way, the issue of confabulation rearing its head, but, it works just fine for public smearing.

it is all of a pattern.  these victims remember with horror events 30-plus years ago in which they were active participants, drinking to incapacity among and with other persons, (never named) and now recalling with horror, (or not recalling until vigorous prompting by friends and those with a more active financial interest, e.g., layers, what may or may not have occurred in fact.)

odd, this mixture of "public virtue," financial avarice, desire for public attention and political partisanship which forms this desire to be of public virtue 30 to 35 years after the fact.

and, just this morning the social media is alive with the "memory" of another drunken "victim," who relates to witnessing several episodes involving kavanaugh and his friend judge.  to the extent that she is capable of relating anything, when viewed through the haze of her extreme intoxication.   but, she, too, recognizes kavanaugh through that veil.  of "memory," and of self interest.

now, it would appear that this whole scenario was anticipated months ago by a democratic strategist who saw this sort of smear as a viable strategy to prevent conservative appointments to the supreme court. 

which brings us to the democratic party, and one diane feinstein, u.s. senator from california.  it appears to me that she has been the "mastermind" of this whole sick, demented and utterly cynical attempt to stall kavanaugh's appointment to the bench.  she sat on christine bogus what'sherface's letter for months, pulling it out of her purse at the last possible moment to forestall a vote on putting the nomination to the floor of the senate.  she has risen to be ford's chief apologist in all of this "will she" or "won't she testify" maneuvering and posturing.  she has murmured "outrage" and "unfair" to the committee's attempt to get ford before them, which it might be remembered, was due to ford's own complaint:  ford performs the legerdemain of complaining and then refusing to air her complaints, even while repeating at the top of her lungs that she was done wrong 36 years ago.

this friends, is a smear of classic proportion, perpetrated by the senior leadership of the democratic party, and the money of george soros.  by a woman, who having sat on the senate judiciary committee for years, now sullies its procedures and makes a hash of the whole proceeding, in the name of "justice."    they hypocrisy and cynicism is breathtaking.  (it is especially cynical given the calls for an f.b.i. investigation....the f.b.i. investigates federal criminal matters, no state criminal matters or partisan civil claims.   this feinstein well knows, and simply pukes it up whenever someone shoves a microphone in her weathered face, because she wants to portray trump as if he is hindering said "investigation.")

i am for an f.b.i. investigation, alright.   not into the activities of judge kavanaugh 36 years ago.    but into the conspiracy of feinstein, the alleged victims, and the various lick-spittle henchmen and henchwomen lawyers who have perpetuated this fraud, and who advanced this conspiracy to violate the civil rights of a person who appears to be of reasonable virtue and prudence.

this is criminal at its worst, in my opinion.   and, at the very least it violates kavanaugh's civil right to be portrayed publicly in a fair manner....he has been purposefully portrayed in what lawyers call a "false light," and that wrong is capable of redress in court, a wrong redressed by financial penalty.   feinstein has done nothing to change the legal standards of that tort, and i hope he sues all these loudmouthed liars for all they are worth.

especially the sack full of wrinkles, the cynical old bitch.

senate republicans are being played like a tin drum, a cheap fiddle .... and, are too stupid to see it ....

one ponders if there are no limits to the stupidity, cupidity, of the senate republicans in this matter of the nomination of brett kavanaugh to the u.s. supreme court: apparently, the answer is that there are no limits.

(and, i begin with this observation, which also serves to end the essay.--   power is wasted on those too stupid to use it.)

consider the facts.--  "blabs" feinstein has a letter which she sits on for months accusing kavanaugh of youthful perfidy.  she produces it when the kavanaugh appointment seems secure, and at a time calculated to put the matter over after the mid-term elections, when she hopes and prays that the dems will have the senate handed back to them.

she has her scandal, she has a witness.

the witness refuses to appear before the senate committee, unless upon terms she dictates, which include the demand that the fbi investigate, insuring a series of leaks from the fbi deep state besmirching kavanaugh.

the republicans apparently have no inkling that they are being played like a child's tin drum, like a cheap fiddle, by an old sack of wrinkles who desperately is trying to show her bona fides as a fire breathing radical to turn back a younger challenger, who operates in the mode of the modern leftist democrat.  the republicans seem oblivious, several of them thinking that ford's lawyer's request for a meeting with the committee chair and the ranking democrat minority member (that being, of course, good old "blabs.)

the republicans are either guileless, stupid, gutless buffoons, or stupid to the core, or both.

this is what they should do, right now.   they should vote to put the nomination to the floor for vote, and they should accept the results, and move along to the next nomination to be put forward by president trump as soon as possible.   there is plenty of time, if they will but exercise the power they have been conferred by the people.  

the republicans haven't the cajones to do this, and instead mouth platitudes about women's rights, etc., which is just exactly what feinstein wants them to do.   now, perhaps there is a chance that the repubs are thinking about the long game, and think that it is of more benefit to woe the ladies than to secure a supreme court seat.

if this is the case, then they simply demonstrate prodigious stupidity again, only in spades.    nothing, and i mean nothing, is more important than securing a majority on the supreme court against the ravages of leftist nonsense sure to come.   let me repeat it.  nothing is as important as the supreme court.

now, to the stupidity of the republican women in the u.s. senate, of whom it is said that they are thinking of voting against kavanaugh to secure their seats.   if that is the reason, then they are simply cowards, (but what have we come to expect from politicians:  in the old days, people liked to vote for generals who had seen battle for political office, and there was a great deal of wisdom of voting for someone who was not a demonstrated coward.)

and, as regard the repub women politicians in the senate, if they are inclined not to vote for kavanaugh, it demonstrates an incredible stupidity for the long game.   if the repubs have congress through 2022, it will mean that president trump may have upwards of another 2 nominations to the supreme court, in which he and the repubs can push through good conservative jurists, perhaps among them several women.   trump should have a chance to appoint to the vacated ginsburg seat (she cannot live forever), and a chance to appoint another conservative woman, several good jurists waiting already in the wings.

a vote against kavanaugh, for any reason, jeopardizes the chances of this occurring.

so, push the matter to the senate floor.   have ford and kavanaugh testify before the committee.    see how it all flushes out.   if kavanaugh emerges a dead duck, get another nomination up, and up quickly.

power is wasted on those too stupid to use it.

brett kavanaugh for president .... or, a matter of unintended consequences ....

well, in the matter of brett kavanaugh's quest for a seat on the supreme court it has come down to a confrontation between kavanaugh and ford before a senate committee.   i've read a bit of what ford has said about kavanaugh's behavior some 30 plus years ago, and i find it totally unremarkable in the ongoing conduct of sexual matters between men and women, or, in this matter, between boys and girls.   perhaps not inconsequential in the context of current politics (in which nothing no matter how trivial is inconsequential), but not anything of any moment.  a total yawn.   and, yes, trivial.

update, this date:  for a pretty good summary of how flimsy the ford case is, please see john funds article published september 18, 2018 at the fox news site.  it is entitled "kavanqaugh and ford controversy--it's 1991 all over again and even some honest liberals are upset."  ruth bader ginsburg for one, who thinks the whole hearing a travesty.

it's not likely to get better when ford tells her "story," and so far she hasn't indicated she will.  however that develops, at this time she doesn't seem to remember where the incident occurred, what date it happened, or even what year it was.  among other pertinent details.  she has remained "on script" enough to direct her accusation again kavanaugh, and just in time to be of service to her party.

in that regard, to further indicate how partisan & flimsy all of this is, (and contrived for political purposes), she has lawyered up w/ an activist who has signed a letter for a soros funded front opposing kavanaugh's appointment, said lawyer also having received financial remuneration on other occasions from none other that george soros, himself.  and, ford is a democrat activist of long standing, leftist variety.   

this whole thing is nothing other than an attempt to delay the hearing until after the mid-term elections, when the demo's hope to take control of congress.  it is beyond me how they hope to do this acting as buffoons.   end update.

nonetheless, the demo's have pulled it out of their hats in a last gasp effort to block kavanaugh's ascent to the supreme court.  sort of predictable on their parts, as they are desperate, and extremely stupid.    for, depending upon kavanaugh's performance before the court of public opinion, they may very well have gone a considerable distance toward putting kavanaugh into the white house, as president of the united states.  all by themselves.

it is a matter of law, that being, the law of unintended consequences.

as the matter stood before "blabs" feinstein honored ford's request for anonymity by turning her letter over to the press kavanaugh was pretty close to being a shoe in for the appointment.  now, with ford amplifying her "anonymous" letter by further public statement, it apparently not such a sure thing that kavanaugh can afford to stay silent on the matter.  he apparently feels he must speak.

there is risk to him, of course, in speaking with her present before the senate.   she will cry, and she will snot herself before the senate regarding a matter which has ruined her life.   you can bank on it.   i anticipate it will be a three hanky performance, and a tough act to follow.

were i you, i wouldn't shed too many tears in advance for brett kavanaugh.   he is not, and forgive the observation, strictly a virgin with regard to the conduct of politics, the way she is played.   he is a judge, and he is a lawyer, and he was (and no doubt still is) a political operative with skills in close order combat.   i expect no tears from him, no apologies, and i expect no observation of the marques of queensberry rules with regards to one's conduct with ladies.

i expect him to come out swinging, and pulling no punches.   not in a smarmy "i did not have sex with that woman" clintonesque performance, but in a hard fought attack on her accusations.   which will no doubt occasion more tears, and more snot.

again, there is risk in this.   but, if kavanaugh performs as he is capable he may emerge from this nonsense* with a lock on the nomination, and something he has never really experienced, and that is public notoriety, and no small positive acclaim.   there is a very good chance this will occur, depending upon his performance within the context of public attitudes.   if he emerges as a bully, it will not be good for him.   if, on the other had, he emerges as a 17 year old who did nothing not within the boundaries of decent adolescent sexual conduct, and who is being smeared by the demos indulging in their usual assholery of recent years, he will become a public figure of very substantial stature.

if he comes out of this really well, from his perspective, he will emerge from relative obscurity to become a leading contender for the republican nomination to run for president in the not too distant future.

even one capable of displacing donald trump who has never been forgiven by the "never trump" rino's for winning the presidency and showing what idiots/dullards the republican politicians are.  and, one who could run for president head and shoulders above the limp dicked idiots the democrats could put up against him.  (if the dems are reduced to having to bring the old warhorse hilary back into action, they had better choose a running mate carefully, because i don't think she'll live through another campaign....she's got too many blood vessels waiting to pop, if she has another blood pressure spike.)

so, there is risk for kavanaugh agreeing to participate in the dem's dog and pony show with the dem's weapon waiting in the wings to blubber herself.

but, in my estimation, there is much greater risk to the dem's eagerly awaiting further indulgence in their ill considered antics*, displaying for all their asinine & antic stupidity.  if they don't carry this off with some measure of skill, they risk creating an unbeatable opponent in 2024, or perhaps as soon at 2020.

you think kavanaugh doesn't know a conservative judge or two, just waiting to get on the high court?

now, such an outcome for kavanaugh is not fore-ordained, but neither is it far fetched.  something to give the dem's some consideration, before they lunge into further disaster under schumer and crew.   i am fully confident that they given it not one moment of thought...they are not built that way.

***ruth bader ginsburg knows washington d.c.    several times now she has told the democrats in congress that their behavior in the conformation process is ill advised, self serving, and not calculated to serve the public good.   in her latest observation, she notes that she was confirmed by a vote of 96-3, in spite of her very well known advocacy for liberal causes while a lawyer and law professor.  in short, whatever opposition her nomination engendered, it did not arouse the clownish behavior displayed by the democrats, and clownish it has been.

to my mind/opinion, she is simply saying, that the liberal judges on the court can live and work with kavanaugh.   a pity that the democrats are not listening.   this epic "fail" is just another serious breach of good sense under the schumer/obama/clinton approach to things, which while generating lots of head lines with the idiot press has given trump pretty much free rein to accomplish his objectives, regarding which, he has taken admirable advantage.

wail away dem's, and remember, stupid is, as stupid does.
