it's not so bad. it sorta makes sense, and, as you might expect, it's cute & funny.
better than the "lamestream" news, and way smarter than anything obama has to contribute to contemporary discussion.--
lemme see.
black lives matter. blacks shoot 90% of all black homicide victims, though they are 13% of the population, more or less. call it 1/6th the population. that means that blacks shoot blacks more both in absolute numbers, and at a much higher rate given their population, than whites.
does he want to take guns from blacks? of course not.
and, then there is abortion.
liberals & obama support abortion.
guess which segment of the population has the highest abortion rate. well, i will tell you, ... , black babies are aborted at a far higher rate, and in greater absolute numbers, than are babies of other race. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/jan/21/j-kenneth-blackwell-black-abortions-a-crisis-in-am/ .
and, black babies are aborted in numbers that are staggering in comparison to the deaths of blacks by homicide, by all means. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/jan/21/j-kenneth-blackwell-black-abortions-a-crisis-in-am/
what, penis control? and, i might add, not a peep about this from the biggest penis of all.
so, i am going back to the chipmunks movie, to see what further shenanigans alvin & theodor & what's his name might get into. as i said, the movie makes a lot more sense than anything else i am seeing on television this evening.
i have been saying for years that though russia is strong within its borders, it lacks the ability to project power.
no navy, to speak of. oh, they have the missile cruiser with the jump deck, but they could not launch an attack on turkey with it, as they have no way to protect it. end of discussion.
no navy, and no sea lift capacity. simple fact.
no air force w/ a significant air lift capacity, and no way to protect what they do have. a motley collection of flying coffins, some pretty large, but no supply nor any logistic train to support and or protect them under way. in short, russia has no logistics train of any sort, to speak of. (her "invasion" of georgia by a ragtag collection of irregulars on her southern borders proved that ... the invading forces stopped, just where they ran out of fuel and ammo. you haven't read that in the mainstream, because the idiots there didn't notice. dumb shits. you don't believe me, ask janes.)
this is no particular disparagement of the russian military. it is a fine military within russia's border, quite formidable in many respects. but, the fact is, the united states of america is about the only military power on earth that has air and sea lift capacities that can be protected along a path from home to some distant place.
russia does not. china does not. no country in europe does, because they've been sitting on our coat tails for years. i am not convinced that france could keep us out of the mediterranean. israel could, and/but we would have to destroy her to keep her from it. (destroying israel air forces would not be easy, nor would it come "cheap." yes, they are good.)
the paris terrorist have ties to the molenbeek district of brussels, belgium residing there and attending mosque there. for instance, salah abdeslam is identified as renting a car in which the terrorists rode around paris the night of the attack, and abdelhamid abbaaoud who has been identified as the "master mind" of the operation lived in molenbeek a few blocks from abdeslam. moreover, the two spent time in prison together, and are undoubtedly associates: intelligence operatives are convinced the two knew each other at the very least from their prison days. http://www.thefinancialexpress-bd.com/2015/11/17/118294 .
there are 22 mosques in molenbeek, home to 100,000 people, the greater share who are muslim in a little over 2 square miles. it is one of the poorest neighborhoods in europe. it is also a hot bed of radical islam, and contributes a disproportionate share of european muslims to the ranks of isis in iraq and syria: many have criminal backgrounds. a great many of europes jihadist attacks find their origin in molenbeek, and arrests have been made in the neighborhood in connection with the paris shootings. the neighborhood is also notorious for the ease with which firearms such as the ak-47 can be sought and purchased. the locals, when asked, say they feel that the mosques are not the center for isis recruitment, and blame recruitment for isis upon the internet. they also blame poverty for a lot of the problem. (an irony of the age, that the poor and dispossessed acquire their radicalism on computers.) http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/nov/15/molenbeek-the-brussels-borough-in-the-spotlight-after-paris-attacks . http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3319932/Guns-God-grievances-Belgiums-Islamist-airbase.html .
comment: 11.17.2015. you know, i find it amusing that arabs always deny that some shooter "could not have done this," or that, "why, i just never suspected." i just figure that arabs just use page 6 of "handbook for dealing w/ credulous dupes" when they tell some reporter something like this. but, please think of willy sutton, who was asked why he robbed banks, and he replied, "because, that's where the money is." and pervs become youth ministers, because that's where the kids are. do you think it would be more than a bit passing strange for immans and mullahs not to flock to neighborhoods like bolenbeek to recruit for radical islamic terror, when there is such a ready, willing and able flock to be tended? in my mind, that would be incredible. they go there, because that where all the disaffected are. simple as that. end comment.
the arab community denies that the mosques are the source of radical beliefs and recruitment to isis, and most reports seem to accept these assertions at face value. yet, other reports and articles paint a different picture. notes politico, in an article entitled "the belgian radical's den:"
islamist militants recruit through online propaganda and rely on influential local figures, ranstorp added. molenbeek is a hotbed of recruiters for the islamic state of iraq and the levant, or ISIL.
khalid zerkani, a preacher nicknamed ‘santa claus,’ encouraged youngsters to leave for syria and even paid them financial compensation. he was convicted in july to 12 years in prison for recruitment of foreign fighters.
“young muslims in our neighborhoods are radicalized by imams that come from abroad. unfortunately, the local and regional political authorities did not respond to our requests to intervene in our community,” said redouane ahrouch, a representative of the islam party in anderlecht, which neighbors molenbeek.
of a handful of mosques in molenbeek, at least two have been known to be popular among radicals, said ahrouch. imams feed off youngsters’ poor arabic, translating holy scripture in a more radical and hate-inciting way, he said.
“the presence of recruiters has been going on for years,” said montasser al de’emeh, a molenbeek native who researches the radicalization in his neighborhood.
the recruiters preach the message that their muslim community is oppressed and threatened by western powers and civilization, he said. “the youngsters here know each other very well, they grow up together and pull each other in when one gets interested in going to syria,” al de’emeh added.
the politico article was apparently compiled by an author who was a little more adept at getting his sources to speak freely and candidly, in my view. and, who were willing to be named, and gave their background.
i have not identified the specific mosques who preach the salafi line, but, when i do, i will update this article and set forth in full what i have found. i am, of course, interested in making the connection to the perpetrators of the paris attacks and to the content of the preaching that may have inspired it.
abdelhamid abaaboud is being sought by european authorities, and is identified as the "mastermind" of the paris attacks. he is said to have fought for/with isis in syria, and to have been back and forth between belgium and syria several times in the past few years.
well, this is all very interesting, including the use of the word "master mind." (loading a bunch of guys in a couple cars and shooting the city of paris up is the work of a "master mind?" if he was so damned smart, why didn't he have people at the exits and in the balcony at the bataclan?)
but this is my point.-- do you suppose he rented an old store front in belgium, with a sign, "sammy the terrorist's school of terror" out in front, and took in the walk-in trade? and, that his girl friend mimi opened a shop next door w/ "mimi's vest makers" hanging over her door?
i suspect not.
what will be found, sooner or later, is that he was harbored in a mosque, and that he did his recruitment and training from within that mosque. dimes to donuts.
what you will further find is that his ilk is welcome there. and, you will find that the mosque was a cover for all the other clandestine operations associated w/ the paris shootings, including procurement of arms and weapons, and financing the operation. and, the source of the vests with which his minions killed themselves, to protect his identity.
decentralized. self contained. one of the benefits of having islam in your neighborhood.
at "the captains journal," an excellent article by herschel smith re: the death of the "... globalist, secular utopia." http://www.captainsjournal.com/2015/11/16/the-bataclan-and-the-death-of-the-globalist-secular-utopia/ .
i recommend it to your reading.
the article also contains this picture of the floor of the bataclan theater, strewn with the aftermath of the shooting, including numerous bodies sprawled in death. it is grisly. understand who and what attacks you. do you not understand that you must respond in kind?
the bodies will be processed at the morgue, investigation and identification will take place, and then they will be released to their families for burial. in the meantime, they will lie in indignity, the victims of a hate that is directed at us. we have no choice but to defend ourselves, and attack those who do this.
in this photo, taken by jeff j. mitchell, getty images, french police are clearly seen wielding ruger mini-14 rifles as they respond to the recent terror attacks in paris, france.
ruger's mini-14 is not only popular in this country, but is also used by numerous police and military agencies all over the world. numerous other photos show the little rifle being used by french police personnel. https://www.google.com/search?q=iraq+warned+of+paris+attacks+before+assault&rlz=1C1KMZB_enUS588US588&espv=2&biw=1260&bih=843&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0CEQQsARqFQoTCKPPupzMlMkCFYrZJgodTr4NNQ&dpr=1#imgrc=_ .
i am supposing that if the little rifle is good enough for the french police it is very probably good enough for you and i to use, in allied situations, as well. i like the little rifle very much, while others do not. to each his own, i suppose.
i will bet you, dimes to donuts, about the following.--
-- the kalashnikov rifles were of the same manufacture.
-- the ammunition used in the rifle were of the same source and manufacture, and the same model, e.g., the head stamps will be the same (indicating commonality of manufacture), and the bullets of the same weight and design.
-- the vest/bombs used by the attackers to kill themselves were made by the same hands, and followed a common design. i am interested in whether each vest was detonated by its wearer, or whether a command authority among them had the ability to detonated them remotely.
-- and, finally, the attackers were not in the least deterred or frustrated in carrying out their attacks by the domestic laws in france prohibiting possession of auto & semi-auto rifles and ammunition, nor by laws prohibiting the possession & use of large detachable magazines.
as the facts of the terror attacks in paris develop, one thing becomes evident. the attacks were carried out by french arabic muslims, the seeming majority french citizens of muslim heritage. the other salient facts is that many of them, including a core of brothers, were or had been residing in belgium, and were "radicalized" there.
dimes to donuts. what has not come to the fore is a very distinct probability, at least to me, that a mosque provided the impetus to these attacks.
a central operative fact in all of this will be the influence of a mosque and its teaching, and influence upon those who carried out the terror attacks. at some point, it will be borne out that the attackers attended a certain mosque in belgium, or mosques, in which they came to adhere to the teaching of a muslim cleric who advocated violence directed toward france, and who encouraged them to carry out this attack and die in its commission, as martyrs to the faith.
i do not think the impetus to this attack was "from the internet." or, from "recruitment films" found on the internet. these sources simply lack the stature of teaching administered by a respected cleric, who could resolve any doubts and questions these men had about their mission, and who could have instructed them in the tenets of faith that motivate such actions.
and, there is another factor here, that is being missed. the internet could not have supplied these men with the implements of their attack. the could not have acquired, especially in europe, the rifles, ammunition and other logistics necessary to carry on the attack. not by mail order, not by ordering via pay pal over the net.***
the fact is that mosques in europe are the locus of the terror attacks launched by muslims in europe. simple as that.
update no. 2. update no. 1 suggested that the planning for the paris shootings took place in raqqa, syria suggesting training and recruitment away from france. on the other hand, this article suggests that the impetus for the attacks took place in belgium, which i think more likely given the geography and logistics of the matter. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2015/11/16/french-prime-minister-warns-of-more-attacks-as-suspected-mastermind-behind-paris-attacks-is-identified/?utm_source=Sailthru&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Firewire%20-%20HORIZON%2011-16-15%20FINAL&utm_term=Firewire .
it won't be too long, in my estimation, before this man identified as a "mastermind" is found to have a teaching base at a local mosque, and that he runs recruitment and indoctrination from within that mosque. that is why no "chatter" went back and forth w/ isis in syria, because the planning is decentralized, and "chatter" is not needed, except to order arms.
why belgium? look at a map. figure it out.
and, this is why the attackers committed suicide before their capture could be effected. to protect the "mastermind," to preserve him as a recruiter and trainer, and to protect the mosque. end update.
the mosques serve to recruit suitable muslims, indoctrinate them in the religious premises found in islam to attack the societies which have nurtured them, encourage them to martyrdom, train them in the methods of attack, and them supply them with the means and logistics to carry out these attacks.
my reading suggests that their were 8 men who carried out the attacks, and that all died when they set off explosives vests designed to kill them. the vests don't seem to have been designed as a lot of vest bombs, as their effect does not seem to have been overly lethal, except to insure the death of the wearer.
why? quite obviously, to prevent them from talking about the organization of the attacks, who inspired them, and who sponsored them.
think about it for a minute.--
they each apparently were armed w/ a kalishnikov rifle, and multiple rounds of ammunition, enough to attack retaurants and the like from their car, and enough to wreak death & carnage within the theatre. they had automobiles to carry on the attack. unless the attack was carried out immediately upon their entry into france, they had money for food and lodging.
they killed. and, they then killed themselves, so that they could not talk. to me, this suggests very strongly that they were "designed" to die, so as not to reveal their sponsors.
comment, not really an update, but, an additional thought. something else occurs to me about the vest bombs, ... , apparently they were detonated well before the french security police/swat teams/military began their "assault" on the theater. people at the scene thought they heard grenades detonating before the troops went in. i doubt it. i suspect that the attackers were killing themselves well before they were "attacked" themselves. the point seems rather obvious.
they acted in this manner to absolutely avoid capture. this, and perhaps to add to their own stature as killing themselves (and securing their martyrdom) and not being killed by the french police and/or troops. but, i think it was to avoid capture, again reinforcing my conclusion, that they acted to keep the authorities from discovering who "sponsored" the attack. end of comment on this topic.
there was no "chatter" about this, something that is bandied about by the talking heads w/ a source of pride, to show their sophisticated knowledge about how intel is gathered. but, the talking heads do not make any deductions, nor do they draw any inferences from this, least they be accused of naked thought.
what this means, however, is that the planning took place without direction from foreign sources, and that it was highly localized. and, that the planning and training took place within a very tightly knit organization, both institutionally and geographically.
there are likely few "training camps," in a sense like an army camp or barracks, which could have accomplished this in belgium.
there are, however, plenty of mosques. plenty of teaching imams. plenty of mullahs, even if no authoritative ayatollahs or clerics. plenty of religious zealots to gather, and to become grounded in the teachings of islam sufficient to lend religious sanction and approval to the attackers for their mission. and, plenty of teachers and clerics to encourage these young men towards martyrdom and savage killing.
in fact, when you think about it, the mosques become almost by default the only conceivable geographic location for training and logistics, and the only source for the religious sanction for the acts of what they men carried out.
understand, that this attack did not take place without religious approval, encouragement, and sanction. these men, in the end, sought religious sanction & blessing for their acts.
and, they received it.
my bet is, that such approval, sanction, and direction came from the teachings of a mosque in belgium.
john jay @ 11.15.2015
*** the clincher is the explosive vests. eight of them. they apparently did not have the skills, insofar as we know, to have built them by themselves, nor did they have access to the facilities and explosive supplies to have built them in belgium.
they acquired these from sponsors in belgium. and, that "sponsor" was the local islamic mosque that they attended, and where they were instructed.
i'll bet you on this. dimes to donuts.
update. 11.16.2015. "iraq warned of attacks before paris assaults." the ap wire service is reporting that iraqi intelligence broadcast a warning to europe, including france specifically, that isis was planning a series of attacks against western targets. apparently details of no specific attack was included in the broadside. http://news.yahoo.com/ap-newsbreak-iraq-warned-attacks-065557894.html .
the ap release also claims that the attacks were planned in raqqa, syria the "isis capital" and at least some of the attackers trained there. the article further elaborates that "sleeper cells" in france were activated to aid in planning and logistics for the attack.
as to these latter claim, i am not buying into them, unless they are further substantiated by western intelligence investigation and analysis. for reasons elaborated above, i think it far more likely that belgium, where a number of the attackers lived, served as the locus of the inspiration and planning of the attack. we'll see, in the not too distant future.
someone is going to have to place the attackers in raqqa, syria before i will lend much credence to the claims of the articles. and, someone is going to have to explain how the arms & ammo were directed into france from syria, if the attacks were directed from there.
herschel smith, the captains journal, has written an excellent article entitled "paris terror attacks," dated 11.13.2015. http://www.captainsjournal.com/2015/11/13/paris-terror-attacks/ .
it is an excellent analysis of how europe and the united states are on a fool's quest to solve demographic, political and economic problems by importing arab/muslim labor into their societies.
it isn't working, quite obviously, except in the perception of the euro union's mollusk bureaucrats, and our own sissy president. (god, what i wouldn't give for an ex-general to be president of the united states right now.) as herschel smith notes, all of this misbegotten political & diplomatic policy, e.g., courting favor with the mad men who run islam, is placing our very existence as free societies in very serious peril.
herschel quotes a very pertinent observation from mark steyn regarding the doomed effort of angela merkel to cover the short comings of germany's demography, e.g., a falling birthrate, as follows:
" ... if they’re still willing to tolerate mutti merkel’s mad plan to reverse germany’s demographic death spiral through fast-track islamization, then europeans aren’t serious ... [about fighting islamic terrorism.]"
styen's point is obvious to anyone who isn't barack obama or a european politician, and that is, how do you fight something that you are bringing into your society by an idiot's policy of immigration. http://www.captainsjournal.com/2015/11/13/paris-terror-attacks/
if our sovereigns will not protect us, it is time to defend ourselves. the west is led by idiots, who place us in peril.
it is time to protect ourselves. that means we must undertake to battle islam, and all that entails. we must arm ourselves, we must retain our arms, and we must be prepared to do battle against islam within & without our borders.
and, if we have to fight our sovereign to do so, so be it.
