i am not much a fan of islam, falling well short as a religion in the pursuit of ethics and morality.
but, i will admit one islamic insight in the pursuit of its political goals.*** and, that is, you do not have to build camps and crematoriums in order to pursue the holocaust against the jews and israel , and against christianity. (first the saturday people, then the sunday people.)
build a certain credulity among the western progressives, and exploit the lingering antisemitism among the low brow, ... , and, any street corner, any playground of a jewish primary school, any school where jewish scholars seek to attain the godhead, any house where a family sleeps with a false sense of security will do, .... , and the people you seek to annihilate even relieve you of the task of hiding the bodies to hide your sin.
in short, posture as the oppressed, ... , e.g., sell the line that your subsidized existence in splendor is a squalid imprisonment, ... , and you may kill your alleged oppressor with absolute impunity, and with the enthusiastic approval of the onlookers who are next in line for your murderous agenda.
it is only to sell a lie or two, and you are home free.
in this, islam has displayed a peculiar genius.

*** if you have not realized at this point that politics, conquest, war and killing constitute the "religion" of islam, then you have a bit more study to attend to. there are no moderate muslims as opposed to radical muslims, there are only muslims. but, you adhere to your beliefs, it will make your time under the knife, when it comes, easier to accept.
you are, by the way, a treasured commodity to islam, much as the "useful idiot" to the garden variety marxist. same thing.
the military says that operaton "jade helm" is to train the military how to carry on in our midst.
but, you should consider the matter from the other side of the coin.-- who is to say that we are not being trained how to carry on with a military presence in our midst, acting in the furtherance of martial law, and acting in the furtherance of illegal governmental policy? just getting us "acclimated," as it were, to the discharge of weapons in our presence by the military, getting used to our fellow citizens being extracted from their homes and occupations by an occupying military, getting used to heavy military weaponry in our presence.
move along, move along, nothing to see here, nothing here that's any of your business. move along.
the handler needs training. and, so does his dog. and, so does the citizen whose speech shall be suppressed, and, so does the person being drug off to jail or the camp without due process of law. go quietly, it's all for your own good.
a provocation not responded to simply results in repeated, escalated, and more heightened provocation. in terms of military provocation throughout history, please see mr. hitler prior to wwii, and mr. putin in first crimea, and now in the ukraine.
i view operation "jade helm" as a provocation. i have expressed that view. others have responded to the article, and have made light of my concerns, citing their own personal experience in military operations having taken place on u.s. soil. as to that, let me first note that i spent many years living in and around ft. lewis washington, and yakima, washington, where military operations have long been held. i am no stranger to large artillery pieces going boom in the night, and no stranger to seeing large military convoys carrying large weapons. nor am i any stranger to seeing brits and japanese soldiers in yakima taking "leave" in the local bistros in yakima and environs.
i am not easily excited.
i have never seen a joint military/civilian/federal government training exercise taking place in 9 states. i have never seen an exercise begin by the classification of american states as hostile territory. i have never seen military exercises practicing "extractions" of civilians, and requesting "volunteers" for detentions. i have never seen any exercise asking civilians to be tolerant of firing of weapons in their vicinity.
nor, have i ever seen an exercise announcing that a goal of same is to be able to insinuate military personnel, and armed military personnel, into civilian populations without detection? what military purpose is served by being able to go among us without detection? will the dhs, or tsa, also practice skulking around among us without detection? for what purpose.
so, i say if the military & obama & minions provoke you, then by all means be provoked.
provocation works like this.-- if you respond, then the provocateur uses it as an excuse to exert greater force and provocation upon you, .... , say, for example, martial law. if you do not respond, then the provocateur is embolden to carry forward with greater provocations, until he receives the response he is looking for, or, until he has achieved his ultimate goal, .... , say, for example, martial law. or, the invasion of the sudetenland. or, the anschluss of austria. for, example.
in short, either through exploitation of a response, or further unopposed provocations, the provocateur ends up achieving his goal, if unopposed.
may as well get things started, and face the inevitable, while a chance exists to end the matter at relatively low cost. hitler might very well have been stopped well short of his goals (which he had quite clearly announced), and stopped well short of the invasion of poland, had the west the gumption to face and oppose him early.
again, to those who say that such operations have always gone on, on u.s.a. soil, i ask when such an operation has ever been held over 9 or 10 states; when an american state has ever been held "hostile" for the purposes of such operation; and when the discharge of ammunition among the general populace has ever been deemed legitimate "practice." and, when, if ever, such "practice" has been to insinuate military personnel into the populace without detection? i ask you again, what legitimate purpose this will achieve.
john jay @ 04.20.2015
p.s. and, if "real" citizens get packed off to "practice" detention, how will citizens react if it actually happens in front of them? how will they know the difference.
right wing terrorist has published the declaration of independence at the previous "jade helm" post. remember the part about no troops "housed among us," being part of the declaration? i suggest you read it, once again, and refresh your memory.
p.s.s. i would be especially wary if dhs or tsa take part in these exercises w/ the u.s. military, or if the department of justice (now, that has become an oxymoron, has it not?) practices how to impose confinement on citizens absent due process and properly brought charges in open court? i spell that "tyranny," and nothing else. you cannot practice tyranny, without actually exercising tyranny, in my view of things. period.
and, to the person who poo poo'ed possee commitatus at the sigforum. well, you are a bit of an idiot, (historically speaking) and should read your "federalist papers," by jay, hamilton and madison. simply put.
the above "rather"*** well written article was posted to the blog on jan. 24, 2008.
and, as you can see by the absence of comment, pretty much ignored.
imagine my surprise to have it linked in an article at "pj media," on april 18, 2015 by michael walsh, entitled "the sham candidacy of hillary clinton --". http://pjmedia.com/michaelwalsh/2015/04/18/the-sham-candidacy-of-hillary-clinton-and-what-it-means-for-the-republic/2/ .
we little bloggers get scant notice from "the big guys," and even less attribution. unless, of course, we are in line for a scathing, for one reason or another.
but, here, over 7 years later, i am linked. for over 7 years ostensibly ignored, by, for some reason, remembered by mr. walsh. it makes the obscurity in which i "flourish" almost bearable.
is it not an amazing world?

*** my "thanks" to dan rather, who serves as such a wonderful example of the detestable leftist media hack, and the leftist media establishment, which seeks to impose progressive tyranny on the rest of us.
i had a friend who asked me to look into something called "jade helm," which i had not heard of. i have enough friends who usually keep me apprised of such matters, that i was curious about this.
so, i googled it. "operation jade helm 15." and, some stuff came up. some of it, ... , well attempting to be "soothing." the usual sources, such as the washington post. some of it, ... , well a bit alarmist, but trying their best to report on it. i tend toward the alarmist.
it will involve elements of the united states military, to include special forces and seals, and the marines. also to include the national guard, and apparently civilian police forces working in conjunction with the federal forces. the military will "practice" what they refer to as "extractions." they will carry weapons, and they will caution the population not to "be alarmed" by the sound of gunfire, presumably "blank ammunition." some have suggested that certain people have been approached, and asked if they would like to portray civilians who have been arrested and detained. others have announced that the military will practice "infiltration" and insinuation into the community, to see if they can operate without being detected. (i assume that these types will not be overtly carrying weapons, nor discharging "blank" rounds wherever they go.)
well, now, isn't this all interesting.
i responded with this letter to friends. still sums up my attitude.
military/security/police ops to begin soon in the southwest, covering 9 states. 2 counties in texas and one in utah to receive special attention. [labled as "hostile" by those conducting the operation.: jjj] special forces, seals, army, national guard. lots of activity reported in the southwest, re: heavy weapons being shipped in.
posse comitatus? what posse comitatus? seems like obama has got legislation passed, replacing the command of the posse comitatus by the various [state] governors, with himself as the civilian head of the posse. interesting.
the state goal of the whole deal, to the extent the military will talk about it, is that army personnel, including special ops, will see how unobtrusively they can insinuate themselves into the general population, "without being noticed."
to which i say, why do they want to see that?
troops will be armed, but with "blanks" in the rifles they will be carrying. how long does it take to reload those blanks with "live" ammo?
i say, three possibilities:
1.)imposition of martial law;
2.)provocation to excuse imposition of martial law; and
3.)show of force to intimidate domestic opposition to obama & minions & schemes.
a remote possibility is that they will go into mexico and root out i.s.i.s. and the drug cartels. very slim in my estimation.
buy ammo, and reloading stores.

p.s. troop maneuvers in 9 states. involving special forces. loaded weapons. speculation on arrest, use of russian troops runs rampant. we'll see.
read the links below, in the attached email.
---------- Forwarded message ----------From: John Jay
a persistent rumor in the articles i've read raises the presence of u.n. and/or russian troops being involved as well, but, i've seen no cogent or persuasive proof of this. if they do show up, it will be easily enough established.
also accompanying this are increased reports of arrests being "accomplished" via the use of heavily armored vehicles, and uniformed personnel.
the more i think about this, the more i am persuaded that a fourth motivation may be behind this operation, and that is to simply gauge the reaction of the american populace to military personnel in this midst, "skulking around," as it were. the leftists have been a little shocked by the vehemence of americans asserting that the public will go to war to protect their guns, and the like. i think that the government has grown so estranged from the rest of us, that they want to verify whether we are serious enough about this, that "measures have to be taken." they also are interested to find out, in my view, whether the military are willing to implement these measures for them.
well, we shall see.
john jay @ 04.18.2015
p.s. nine states are involved, essentially those bordering mexico. that in and of itself is sort of interesting.
but, this is what i will be watching, very intently. i want to see what role tsa and homeland security & minions play in this; what role holder and the "justice department" [it ceased being this a long time ago]; and whether the proverbial community organizers show up, as they did in ferguson, missouri, and what role they play.
this would be the civilian government, our version of the ngo's around the world, and our military being cheek to jowl. i would not find this reassuring, to say the least.
when a case in "jj's brit" is formed from the .22-250 cartridge, it is necessary that the case be "fire formed" so that it will feed reliably from an ar-15 magazine.
the reason is pretty straightforward.-- the .22-250 cartridge is a bit smaller in the case head than other nominally .473" case-head cartridges. and, the cartridge walls have more taper to the case shoulder. thus, in case forming the "jj's brit" cartridge, you wind up with a cartridge case which is quite a bit narrower at the shoulder "than in should be."
thus, in a magazine filled with such narrow shouldered cases, the cartridges at the top of the magazine column do not have enough "dimension" below them to prevent the front of the cartridge being pushed down when the bolt face begins to strip the round from the magazine. the bullet tip is pushed down, and it contacts the front of the magazine, before it can even reach the feed lips at the front of the magazine well.
when a cartridge case is "fire formed," the cartridge shoulder is pushed to its "true dimension" by the pressures inside the case. it is a difference that is easily seen by the naked eye, as the shoulder is bigger, and the turn at the shoulder is much sharper & better defined. stacked in a magazine, the entire stack has enough dimension so that all the case shoulders touch and support each other, and the front of the cartridge does no dip in response to the bolt face contacting the rear of the cartridge to strip it from the magazine.
in short, the cartridge when fire formed fill the magazine properly, and the cartridges stack properly, and move up the magazine in good order as the weapon is fired.
well, the spring cold morphed into the spring gout flare up, so i went from being sick to being in pain. both conditions seem under control, so, i am up and gimping.
i've been thinking. i've got a thought gestating, nibbling at the edge of my conscious thought a little bit every day for about a month now, and something that has eluded me for several years is coming into clearer focus.
stay tuned. this is not to say that this is going to be mind shattering for a lot of you, who've probably had these notions for some time, but, it is significant enough to comment on. if you cannot be lightning quick on some things, being slow & thorough will have to do.

p.s. why do the western elites have such a hard on for the muzzies, eh?
