some of you probably wonder how bloggers stay on top of this stuff, and you are probably thinking, can he really be that smart, that energetic?
well, of course, the answer is no, i cannot, and neither are most bloggers.
what we do have are very smart friends, who keep a pretty weather eye out on things. for instance, my friend ralph anderson, a very aware guy brought to my attention the likely fate of the passengers on mh370 when he noted the altitudes to which the plane rose. (ralph grew up around commercial aviation, and around commercial airline manufacture.) and, ralph also told me about the likely sighting over the maldives, or a large plane, flying low, with the appropriate colors. and, finally, i find ralph's conclusion that the plane is heading for yemen or somolia to be pretty astute, even if it is the last place in the world that would have occurred to me.
makes sense, when you think about it, though. who in the world, for instance, would have been thinking of those places, when iran pops so readily to mind.
but, that is how this blogger is so smart. i just mow my yard, come in to sit down at the computer to see if a reloading die i've order from lee precision is available, and i have an email from ralph waiting for me.

i don't mean to make light of the current situation. it is, as people have noted, a genuine concern for the security of the u.s. and of israel. but, i do want to pay my respects to friends who are on top of things, and who help me out a tremendous amount. unless you never sleep, like pamela geller or carolyn e., you simply cannot keep up with all this stuff, unless people help you.
that's how we get through most things, is it not? with a little help from our friends. especially in the tight spots, and we are in a tight spot w/ mh370.

p.s. and, i hope somebody puts to sea all five of the nuclear carriers that the idiot obama ordered into port all at once, along with a marine amphibious landing carrier. i trust the navy is on full alert over mh370, even if the idiot obama does not have sense to come out of the rain.
if harm comes to those carriers, then it is yardarms for obama, in my estimation.
i think we have to understand that " .... the realm of possibility ..... " is a lot wider than we ever dreamed, years ago. it is a dangerous world, out there, and obama makes it no safer, especially for our service men and women.
