nah, i didn't make it up. who could make this stuff up?
but, apparently the dip shits at the department of homeland security have/had planned to make funerals classy and somber by playing bagpipes during the services. so, they put in requisitions for them.
http://www.prepperpodcast.com/homeland-security-now-training-for-funerals-43-items-tell-the-story/#axzz2QIS37cVT . read the article at the link, written by james smith 10 april 2013. smith relates that "amazing grace" is popular at funerals, especially mournful when played on the pipes. i guess i would have to agree. no offense to the scots, but most everything is pretty "mournful" played on the pipes: except battle songs, into battle. those are neat.
actually, it pays to be prepared for funerals. as for my funeral,*** i have made a disc to include that great conservative steve earl playing the "texas eagle" with the del mccoury band. i don't guess anyone will get caught snoozing with that rousing song blasting away.
at the risk of repeating myself, what a bunch of dip shits we have running this country.
