I have wondered for quite a while what was being done with the F-117 fighters now that they've been "retired" and "mothballed" at Groom Lake (aka Area 51). Personally, if I were in charge those things would have been converted to drones (the computers did most of the flying anyway, and removing the life support equipment would increase payload by several hundred pounds) and used to strike Iran. They would be largely invisible to radar, capable of inflight refueling, and expendable if necessary.

Of course, I tend to be an "outside the box" thinker.

Maybe the Israelis will use the Herons to spot and mark targets, and use cruise missiles to hit them. I dunno, but I don't think we'll have to wait long to find out.

I have to think that this release of info is a feint of some sort. There is more to it but we won't ever see it, I do believe. Neither will Iran (hopefully).



Thinking feint as well. If Israel has a actual bomber plane maybe these could be used to run tandem and murk up the waters so to speak.

Maybe nothing. We shall see or maybe we won't. It's got us thinking hasn't it?

Could be that's the intention. I don't think Israel would release defense info unless it was to gain an advantage. A Trojan horse perchance?
