When Williams was on the George Noory program in question, he basically discussed the Janet Kephart testimony to congress. Thus, we all could be sued in the same manner.

Mark Steyn and Ezra Levant will be testifying about these ridiculous laws in Ottawa tomorrow...at a special hearing.

Read that (From the US Congressional Record) on radio or internet radio, and you too can be sued.

miluimnik:

when the smoke clears, it seems to me that we shall all owe a great debt to mark steyn and ezra levant, who braved the travails of this whole ludicrous process.

yes, we can all be sued in the same manner.

geert wilders may be "brought before" a jordanian court. would that not be rich for a prime minister of holland to be "prosecuted" for his thoughts, ... , again.

these three men, and their great champions like geller and spencer, deserve our eternal gratitude.

and, miluimnik, i thank you for your notes, and the information conveyed in them. invaluable information, i should say.

p.s. when a fresh faced law student i took a semester course in "international law."

i was not a favorite of the young professor who taught it.

from time to time, i would ask, "who and where is the sheriff?"

or offer, "it looks to me as though the united states always enforces or executes the writs of arrest and attachment."

international law exists only at the tolerance & pleasure of the united states, and ultimately, of her people.

when law ceases to have utility for the entity that enforces it, it vanishes.

the rest of these overstuffed shirts would do well to remember that. these canadian poofsters exist only because we tolerate them, and for no other reason.

friends:

all of this, by the way, is why winston churchill favored simple summary field execution for the germans and japanese guilty of atrocity during wwii.

he was not in favor of the nurenburg trials. oh, no, he was not.

he saw where they led.

think about it.

Clarence Ruttle

Dear John Jay, I must take umbrage with your lumping all Canadians into the same group as the Canadian Human Rights Tribunals. There are many Canadians, mostly on the conservative side of the political spectrum that are trying to get the CHRC abolished. The CHRC would fit in perfectly with Stalin's kangaroo courts or in Maoist China. They are a stain on Canada's honour.
Note that just by typing this comment, I could be hauled before the tribunal and my constitutional right to 'free expression' or the fact that I spoke the truth is not a defense. I believe that the US Democrat party has an idea to set up similar 'hate language' laws in your country. Be on your guard, don't make our mistake of letting this evil germinate in your country.

As an aside, 'world courts' and the idea that a nation can impose it's laws on citizens of another nation is exclusively a left wing concept. Since we elect lawmakers for our own countries this is 'legislation without representation', since Dr. Williams was not eligible to vote for the Canadian MPs who thought the CHRT was a good idea.

Yours, C A Ruttle

P.S. Do visit Mark Steyn and Ezra Levant's websites and follow the myriad links

clarence:

thank you for your comment.

i think that you have apprehended perfectly the intent of my writing of this post.

i know not all canadians support this "court," witness the efforts of messers levant and steyn to resist it.

all your remarks are cogent and distinctly on point.

best of luck to you in resisting this odious institution, and you can be sure that persons in the u.s. watch congress and the regulatory agencies to make sure this kind of horsecrap doesn't happen here. several triall balloons have been raised in congress, and quickly shot down by intense, vehement and very pointed opposition.

it is a matter worth dying bleeding in the street over, and i hope that this does not come to pass either in canada or the u.s.

but, if it must, let us join the battle gleefully.

now, now, now John...leave the horses out of this.... but/& I have taken umbrage for the "hate speech" contained herein by some of the speakers from Queer Ann's Nation -

( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QDu3srTiZ0k / esp.8:16 ).

I am offended by the same sort of "alleged cannuckian sensibility, or sensitivity or "dignity interest," " & I wish someone one else would press my case as I am too overwhelmed w/ making a living.....o wait.....on second thought, they can believe as they want so long as they let me do the same.

This attempt to haul a U.S. citizen before a Canadian kangaroo court for acts on U.S. soil that are legal on U.S. soil needs to be called what it is - an attempted act of imperialism.

robert:

i see absolutely no difference between this and the british impressing american seamen upon the open oceans before the revolutionary war.

mr. williams is far more civil than i would be.

p.s. laughing. i thought some exception might be taken to my "salty" language. so far, neither man nor beast nor refined & cultured lady have taken exception to my lurid language describing the canadians. nor, any canadians.

i find that very interesting.
