my dear friends:
from this day forward i will submit no more posts to this blog devoted to theory.
any further posts will be devoted to either operational doctrine, or the need to develop the same, with regard to the particular nature and circumstances that we may anticipate encountering in the coming conflict with islam upon our shores, and within our society.
i have spent the last 40+ years of my life reading and writing about the matters treated herein, and i can do no better, and i have said what i want to say. for those of you who wish to keep abreast of the particular happenings around the world and in the united states, i recommend atlasshrugs2000 by pamela geller, and jihad watch under the stewardship of robert spencer, and andy bostom’s fine blog. hirsi and gabriel bear reading, as does carolyn glick, citizen of the world, in her newspaper columns in the jerusalem post. (carolyn glick may be the single most talented writer in an essay format i have ever read, and she beats the living hell out of george will, who has simply become so tainted by washington d.c. as to be regarded as a courtier, a verbal tart, if not the court jester. glick’s only rival as a writer is probably victor david hansen, and he is just not on a par with her in terms of her incisive understanding of who and what the enemy is: he is fun to read, not just as important to read.)
no finer exposition of the tenants of islam is to be found than in the writings of bostom, spencer and it must be added, mark steyn. look ‘em up. (give bat ye’or a gander, too. it cannot hurt you.)
no finer single source on this is to be found than atlasshrugs. i consider the host of the blog, pamela geller, in the same light as i would consider the founders of the medieval knights of malta. she is a hero and a beacon.

i see no reason to duplicate the work of others, when their thinking and exposition is so well done, and more thorough and painstaking than anything i am capable of doing. if you cannot learn from them, you are simply not capable of getting the drift.
there you have it. i am to the range, to do the final sighting in a new leupold tactical range finding scope, which has a vertical reticule calibrated for the 69 grain sierra bthp bullet, at 2850 fps at the muzzle. estimate the range, and dial it up. hold hard. in my view of the world, it is what the world has come to.
