well, that's more or less what jon corzine testified to before congress, "explaining" why $1.6 billion of his investor's funds came up missing after his company filed for bankruptcy.
and, now, he looks to be a bald faced liar, apparently as to a little $200 million dollar check he wrote on customer funds to cover a company "overdraft." apparently the minions are pointing at him, no doubt to cover their own misdeeds in the affair. but, the auditors seem to have tumbled to it, and someone is gonna have to do the time.
i vote the arrogant corzine.
he brazenly told congress he "couldn't find it." (referring to the entire "golden parachute.") i am presuming by that, he meant he looked real hard, too. why, i can empathize with the man, really, as, i myself have lost $1.6 billion on occasion, just the other day, as a matter of fact, ... , it must be in the sock drawer.
he is an unctuous, arrogant pup, and i hope he gets his just desserts for the audacious lie he told told. ("i never had sex with the woman.") the bastard.
oh, yes, he was a united states senator. a democrat. just the sort of fellow you can trust with the money of others.
that have anything to do with the state of the nation?
