stanford did not keep the game between the tackles ...

oregon 53, stanford 30.   oregon wins.  as i had hoped, but was not entirely sure.

oregon ended up being too fast, both the individual players and in terms of "team speed," and stanford's vaunted tight ends dropped the ball.  hearing footsteps, very rapid ones.

oregon blocked, tackled and ran better.  they earned the win by playing better football.
