game six, the 2011 world series ...

in many ways baseball remains the quintessential child's game.

throw the ball.  hit the ball.  run like crazy. the game is not over until the last out.

need i add, that many, many, many improbable ways exist to get to that last out.  amazing.

baseball at its most inept, error after error, only to be redeemed later in the game.  baseball at its best.
