update:  david weprin, defeated running for anthony weiner's seat in congress, blames his loss to a republican in an overwhelming democratic congressional district, on barack hussein obama.  he's right.  http://hotair.com/greenroom/archives/2011/09/16/weprin-blames-loss-in-ny-9th-special-election-on-obama/ .  as soon as obama is out of office, the seat will become a democratic sinecure once again, just as the gerrymander intended.  but, for right now, a republican holds it, thanks to the idiot obama.  end update, 09.18.2011.

i lived in a congressional district served by an idiot, and lazy to boot.

i didn't care for him much.

did that mean i did not vote for him, predictable as the morning sunrise.  no, it did not mean that, as i voted for him regularly.

as i used to say, "yes, he is a stupid son of a bitch, but he is my stupid son of a bitch.  he gets my vote."

do not forget that even though obama is an idiot, the proverbial stupid son of a bitch, he is the left's son of a bitch and idiot, and they are gonna vote for him even if he gets caught giving head to a taxi driver at high noon with judy woodruff peering aghast through the windows with a camera crew in attendance.  hey, it could happen.

and, there are a lot of democrats.

so, even though obama is well demonstrated to be lazy, incompetent, and nothing more than a narcissistic nit wit, it is going to be a closely and hotly contested election.  a lot goes with having your son of a bitch in office as opposed to the other guy's son of a bitch.

it's called money, patronage, influence and graft.  important attributes, in a successful politician.  these attributes engender "loyalty."
