well, i have seen the little munchkin sing on the television.
my emotions are mixed. on the one hand, i feel like very highly redundant bio mass. on the other hand, what a supreme pleasure to hear the beauty another human being can create by nothing more than her voice. the purity, power and timbre of that voice, out of that little slip of a girl. clearly, it is not over until the little girl sings.
she is enchanting, and it brings tears to listen to her: to smile and cry at the same time, very interesting set of emotions. just captivating. sort of makes one proud to be a human, even redundant bio mass can appreciate the sublime.

p.s. perhaps a duet w/ andrea bocelli is in order. i should live so long.
update: the little stinker just sang luciano pavarotti's "nessun dorma." (yes, yes, i know giacomo puccini wrote it for the opera "turandot." but, it is pavarotti's song, as wonderfully as bocelli sings it.)
just simply amazing, that song from that little slip of a girl. beautiful. end update.
If you haven't already seen it ...

The face and the voice of an angel. I'm not a religious person by any
stretch of the imagination, but I thought I was in the presence of God. One of the judges called her performance 'heavenly.' I would have called it, spiritual.
The musical performance of my lifetime, by a ten year old girl.
