it would appear that ned may/"gates of vienna" aspires to be the sole arbitrator of what is said about/in/& for the anti-jihad in europe, and when it is said. whenever this occurs, whenever one seeks to be authoritative and arbitrary, orthodoxy and censorship seem to follow right along.
pamela geller did not say anything not said before by "gates of vienna" and its little coterie of blogs, and pamela geller said nothing not true, witness tommy robinson's acknowledgement and promise to address the problems averted by pamela. (this latter point seems lost on most people, but it establishes a fundamental point: the head of e.d.l. admits her concerns legitimate, to the point of saying e.d.l. needs to expel anti-semitic and neo-fascist types from its midst. think about that.)
her "crime" was singular in the eyes of "gates of vienna." in short, she was the one to say it, and not ned may/"gates of vienna," who wants to arbitrate all things counter-jihad in england and europe.
i agree with those who say harmony should be sought. is that to say that harmony is to be imposed, and that it is the tune & melody that "gates of vienna" would impose on the rest of us? any comment on this latter point?
this must seem passing odd to anyone in europe who considers it.
