preface, of sorts. the dream of every radical leftist green/environmental politician … the movement towards a sustainable human squalor. (and why “this dream” is so compatible with islam.)

the article. the dream of every radical leftist green/environmental political is the realization of economic structures and policies which will achieve a human harmony and balance with what is broadly conceived as nature and the environment.
the dream of every muslim and islamic politician is the dominance of islam amongst all the world’s people, and the establishment of the truth of islamic rule.
many are baffled that modern leftists who epitomize the perfectibility of human reason and intellect, in their own eyes, at any rate, have taken up playing house with islam, hardly the epitome of human progress, being mired in 14 centuries of barbarism and no indication of ever emerging from the same.
it is an odd marriage.
but, a marriage it is, hand in hand supervising the demographic conquest of europe, as leftist politicians the continent over sacrifice the interests of their indigenous populations in favor of islamic conquest through immigration and state supported & subsidized birth rate. we see the same phenomena in the united states, with the radical left’s utter abandonment of democratic values in a quest for totalitarian rule, and a rapprochement with islam as advanced by b. insane obama.
but, it is a marriage nonetheless.
if the marriage flourishes, it is the death of western civilization, and of its twin pillars, christianity and judaism.
and, in the larger analysis, it is not a marriage of contradictory values, this wedding of european marxism and middle eastern fundamentalism. for both systems, environmental socialism and islam, are premised upon identical values. that is, the ordered administration of society as conceived by radical leftists and by islamic clerics alike depends upon a docile population, that being defined as a population conceived in intellectual ignorance and obedience to a ruling elite, and by an economic system characterized by order and minimal production, and not productive of a social class in rivalry or opposition to the ruling elite.
in short, both modern socialism, as expressed in green/environmental politics, and islam, aspire to intellectual and material squalor. administered, of course by elites, religious and political, of wealth and privilege. in short, european socialism aspires to the medieval feudalism from which islam has never emerged.
a small price for prince charles to convert to islam, if it means he reasserts and returns to the aristocracy and aristocratic rule to which he so fondly aspires. you heard it here first: he will convert to islam within five years of less, … , the only price being, that he will have to cease public utterance of his desire to live in camilla parker's pussy, … , a small price, indeed, all things considered.
you think it nonsense, this marriage of values i perceive.
you think it nonsense, this return to the middle ages?
i would remind you that as a system of government the middle ages were remarkably successful, lasting from the fifth century until roughly the 16th century, from the fall of the remnants of western rome until the flourishing of the renaissance beginning in italy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/middle_ages .
why did it last so long? why was it successful? simply put, because it worked, and it worked so well that it was very stable, and very orderly. it was only with very damaging climatic changes and the emergence of the concept of the nation state as an intellectual and political vehicle that the medieval & feudal structure of the middle ages gave way to the middle class, free market enterprise and the nation state.
and, i might add, that the concept of need for aristocracy and the “central planning & control” of the feudal structure became superfluities shoved to the sidelines by the fluidity of market driven, which is to say, decentralized and individualized societal decision making.
people who make up their own minds and who make their own economic decisions do not need aristocrats and “experts,” e.g., fundamentally the same thing, telling them what to do.
the modern socialist as medievalist. there is a very nice fit here.
what is the hallmark of the modern socialist political state? in my view, it is the deferral of social decision making, in all spheres of life, but particularly relating to economics, politics, religion and social mores, to the “expert,” qualified by education and motivated by a need to tell everybody else what to do.
quickly, if you can, tell me what aspect of modern life is not governed by the expert? we have talking heads lecturing us on the perfectly obvious in every phase of our life, … , and in politics, virtually every aspect of societal governance is dominated by “experts,” from economists, to social planners, to public health officials, to matters of religion and speech, in the euro states. experts even tell people the sexual mores and practices they should follow, which matters i would have expected eternally reserved to the enthusiastic curiosities of individuals: but, no, “experts” lecture us on what is both acceptable and desirable. we even have experts on beauty, as though this is beyond the ken of individual judgment and choice.
personally, i stand by, … , well, the old standby, of experimentation, with the gleam of expectation lighting my eyes.
they hold sway in every field.
not the least of which is making largely idiotic pronouncements on the environment, and its related topic, the weather.
they are, these experts, the very epitome of intellectual aristocrats, unquestioned because their expertise is anointed by professional certificate and self anointed by professional promotion and aggrandizement: scientists no longer labor in anonymity; they preen in the competitive limelight of “announcement” and “advance.” no sense of modesty, caution or self effacement stems the flow of this claim or that claim of the advancement of knowledge, no sense that caution might to be lent to their proposals given the limitations of human knowledge or intellect: no claim too silly to propound.
here they are the intellectual analog of hollywood self promotion, and self importance.
and, they are all statists, and all proponents of radical leftist ideas on social control and governance.
i regard them as the triumph of the thinking of harold lasswell and harold laski, detailed herein at, , along with the dominance of leftist & marxist thinking over the last 100 years of so.
the link to islam, squalor, quiescence and obedience. islam was created in the middle ages, and has resided there for its entire history.
it is quintessentially aristocratic and hierarchical: indeed, the savants of the religion assert ascendency in its interpretation to and for the benefit of the obedient adherents of the faith by proving their status as descendents of the founder and his family.
the imam, mullahs and ayatollahs of islam are the very epitome of aristocracy, … , perpetuated by murder, violence and a lust for dominance, … , but, why quibble over minor deficiencies in the way things she is run?
the euro socialists and their american counter parts, b. insane obama foremost among them, do not so much admire islam for its aristocrats, though they have surely noted the salutary effect of their longevity as those who aspire to hereditary rule might be expected, as they admire islam for the wonderful nature of its adherents: they make absolutely perfect subjects.
oh, they are prone to killing each other from time to time, and this includes the aristocrats, nothing being so loved by a muslim as a good opportunity to the slaughter of one’s fellows.
but, they are docile and quiescent as subjects.
they do not threaten or question the nature or the structure or the right of islam to exert its rule and control over them.
they obey islam.
and, most importantly, they obey the rule of islam’s aristocrats.
and, the would-be aristocracy of the euro and american radical leftist aspire to this kind of subject, orderly, docile & intellectually quiescent subject populations of their very own.
environmentalism: the “green revolution” to create the western equivalent to the muslim subject: ignorant and squalid. at this juncture, i would ask you simply to watch the video’s lined above, as they are most interesting with regard to what “sustainable development” really means.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldhMOfwLzcw&feature=email . at about 7 minutes 50 seconds into the program of the implications for “sustainable development,” a booklet explaining “agenda 21” a u.n. resolution adopted in the 1990’s notes that uneducated political subjects are to be preferred, because they earn and produce less, and hence, extract less from the environment:
“generally, more highly educated people, who have higher incomes, consume more resources than poorly educated people, who tend to have lower incomes. in this case, more education increases the threat to sustainability.” “education for sustainable development toolkit,” by rosalyn mckeown, phd., july 2002 (min. 7, sec.s 50)
now, islam is ready made for the “green revolution,” muslim populations for years living in want, privation and squalor, and being resident to some of the most backward economies in human history. they seem to thrive in it, paradoxically.
but, this condition of backwardness is precisely what is intended by the radical leftist environmentalists. they want the women folk fat, dumb, pregnant & barefoot and in the kitchen, and they want us men folk in the traces out behind the mules in the fields, equally barefoot.
they intend to still the great engines of western economies, and to end the “exploitation” and “diminishing” of the earth’s resources. (please see p.j. o’rourke’s “all the trouble in the world,” for a very entertaining refutation of any assertion that man has ever “diminished” the earth’s resources, or is ever likely to.) and, the reason they intend to still the great economies, is simple. they intend to destroy the middle classes, and they intend to destroy the political power of any group educated and motivated enough to challenge their usurpation of absolute power.
they do not intend to intelligently raise the standard of living of the third world.
they intend to intelligently lower the standard of living for the western world, to make it compatible with and comparable to the non-industrialized world. fair is, after all, fair.
or, as several of b. insane obama’s spiritual cohorts has explained, to “de-develop” countries like the united states. in this sense, the labor unions in their almost mindless advocacy for obama, participate in the killing of the goose which laid the golden eggs for unions this past century: “labour” has never quite figured out that “capital” produces and makes possible the very wages which have sustained labor’s political clout. it has not been organization, it has been wealth that has sustained labor, and the absence of such wealth will destroy their power, as they may find out to their chagrin, assuming suitable intelligence to discern what has happened to them. and, labor has very few hoffers among them anymore, to explain things: more is the pity.
if you are still naïve enough to believe that no would purposely want to deconstruct the economy of the united states, please see http://aconservativeedge.com/2009/08/19/obamanomics-working-as-designed-the-united-states-economy-is-de-developing/ , and follow the link to http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/individualprofile.asp?indid=2368 , in which is found the following quote, which i reproduce in full:
“viewing capitalism as an economic system that is inherently harmful to the natural environment, holdren and ehrlich (in their 1973 book human ecology: problems and solutions) called for "a massive campaign … to de-develop the united states" and other western nations in order to conserve energy and facilitate growth in underdeveloped countries. "de-development," they said, "means bringing our economic system into line with the realities of ecology and the world resource situation." "by de-development," they elaborated, "we mean lower per-capita energy consumption, fewer gadgets, and the abolition of planned obsolescence." the authors added:
"the need for de-development presents our economists with a major challenge. they must design a stable, low-consumption economy in which there is a much more equitable distribution of wealth than in the present one. redistribution of wealth both within and among nations is absolutely essential if a decent life is to be provided for every human being." http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/individualprofile.asp?indid=2368
my dear friends, what could be a clearer expression of the fact that radical leftist/green politicians do not mean to raise the rest of the world to our standards of living, but mean to reduce you to the level of the rest of the world, and that they mean to take your wealth and your property in order to do so.
this is what they mean to do.
and, this is what they mean when they talk of sustainable development.
and, the more stupid you are, the more ignorant of their designs you remain, the easier for them it is to do this to you.
and, this is where the modern radical leftist politicians covet the muslims, as they personify ignorance that will give way to a religious or political hierarchy which tells them what to do, and why radical leftists and marxist do not fear the forced conversion of western populations to islam, but welcome the prospect, and do everything they can to advance such prospect.
this is why the educated man is not welcome, or suitable particularly, as a leftist.
this is what the doctrine of “sustainable development” means when you hear it. it is no longer the innocuous muttering of some goofball academician, but the doctrine, nay, better to say religious belief, of the mainstream radical left and socialist politics the world over.
and, it is why radical leftist and islamic fundamentalists pursue their aims in lock step the world over.

p.s. does a scientist/scholar even have to be remotely correct to be of political & religious influence in this thing called the “green revolution?” well, judge for yourself:
“in 1986 holdren predicted that "carbon dioxide-induced famines could kill as many as a billion people before the year 2020."
in 2006 holdren that as a result of global warming, sea levels worldwide could rise by 13 feet by the end of the 21st century. a subsequent estimate by the intergovernmental panel on climate change placed the figure at 13 inches.
in the october 2008 issue of scientific american, holdren wrote: "the ongoing disruption of the earth's climate by man-made greenhouse gases is already well beyond dangerous and is careening toward completely unmanageable." "carbon dioxide (CO2)," he added, "is the most important of civilization's emissions and the most difficult to reduce. about 80 percent comes from burning coal, oil and natural gas; most of the rest comes from deforestation in the tropics."
today holdren characterizes researchers who doubt whether human activity is responsible for global warming, or that global warming even poses a serious threat, as people who "infest" the public discourse with "dangerous" ideas that pose "a menace" to humanity.” http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/individualprofile.asp?indid=2368
do you doubt that a screwball crackpot could have influence in a scientific age? well, witness this, doubting thomas that you are:
“on december 20, 2008, president-elect barack obama named holdren as his choice to be assistant to the president for science and technology, director of the white house office of science and technology policy, and co-chair of the president's council of advisors on science and technology.” http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/individualprofile.asp?indid=2368
and, you thought me a cracked pot, didn’t you? come on, admit it. laughing.
i might note, the world has not suffered CO2 induced famines. nor have the sea levels risen 13 far as i know.
Wait a second, If this new world-wide mediocrity happens does that mean I am no longer White Trash? That would bum me out!

sammy:
well, it is kind of a definitional thing, this issue you are raising.
do you have a really old travel trailer for a house?
do you own a 25+ year old pickup for transportation?
do you have an "ernest tubbs greatest hits" collection?
it would probably mean, however, that whatever demographic niche you occupy or define, that you would have a lot of company in it, were poverty and reduced circumstances a feature of your new life style.
like me, for instance.
whatever we will be, sammy, we will be.
roses, by any other name, would smell so sweet.
and, given the deletorious impact of soaps on the environment, especially water, they would be banned, so we would smell, too. probably not like roses.
in short, in answer to your question, ... , i dunno.

Dont have the trailer, I do have a collection of David Alan Coe and Kinky Freidman, and a 25 year old pair of gym shorts.
Its all what is in your heart...I know what is yours and what is mine.. so I guess it doesnt matter

yidwithlid:
i absolutely adored kinky freidman and his texas jewboys, for his "attitude" and the fact that they played very good texas swing.
texas swing is pretty good stuff. i liked dan hicks and his hot licks a whole bunch, too, but they were a pale imitation of kinky and his crew.
but, i think kinky and the 25 year old gym shorts would "qualify" you for inclusion in just about any niche group. laughing.
john
p.s. sammy, i like a good cigar from time to time. i always admired kinky for his. had i lived in texas, i might have crossed party lines to vote for him for governor, but, ... , don't tell anyone. i don't want to upset my bona fides.
i always thought that sitting down with kinky for a bourbon and branch, and a good cup of coffee, and a good cigar for an evening of political discussion would be very interesting, indeed.
and, i just love his house.
classic boar's nest. you really got to love him.
